June 30th

We wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and fasting today. We could feel the spirit with us throughout the day and we know it is affecting dad too. The doctors have told us that the swelling in his head has peaked and this is good as it means his brain is now likely protected from further injury. They have removed the sedation now and we are hopeful we will see him start to come to soon. It is going slowly as anticipated, but we have seen encouraging signs today and are hopeful to see more tomorrow. 

While this has been perhaps the longest week of our lives, it has really pulled our family closer.
